Design and décor lovers had a strong start to the year. The international fair Maison&Objet turned “The city of light” into a focal point within a sector that is growing in interest. Making a special tribute to its 25 years serving as a symbolic meeting point, the event has now focused on the future under the heading (Re) Generation.

From 17 to 21 January Francisco Segarra was attending this unmissable appointment, presenting Ofelia, the new FS group’s brand, a new universe that offers spaces where beauty is reflected through the natural harmony of the objects and the way they are placed.

The Villepinte Exhibition Centre welcomed more than 90.000 visitors from 150 different countries who met in this international fair that is like a window to two worlds, today’s view to inspire the future.

Maison&Objet unveiled the new keys that will lead decor and design trends. For this occasion, the motto chosen, (RE) GENERATION, is focused on new customers’ wishes and expectations in order to offer the best possibilities in a future setting where sustainability is at the top of their priority list.

The new interior design patterns that will rule in 2020 became evident through 2700 exhibitors in more than 115.000 square metres of exhibition area.

Manufacturers, artisans, designers… great décor professionals showed their last creations, advocating for a nature trend, where objects pay tribute for organic shapes, where we find life in any corner.

Ofelia, when elegance and delicacy go together in a single project.

This event meant a considerable impetus for Francisco Segarra and his brand Ofelia. The stand was created and designed by Francisco Segarra’s team, it had been inspired in a cosy and charming flower shop, where elegance and delicacy merged with authenticity and spontaneity in order to recreate a new model of good taste and welfare at home.

It meant a gift for lovers of small special objects, those objects that catch your attention immediately… Cups, bowls, baskets, candles… and flowers. Under a warm lighting we become immersed in the natural essence of handmade objects.

Flowers welcome us at the entrance, comfortable furniture invites us to enter. Among wood, wicker and bamboo pieces we find a vintage touch in the wallpaper covering the walls. It is a setting where beauty can’t be described with words.

Ofelia represents a fresh air within décor industry, where Francisco Segarra’s own style is a key factor and the spaces are created to live in.

Francisco Segarra’s new Brand has already opened three stores that have marked a turning point for retail concept. “Ofelia Home&Decor”, “Ofelia Teas&Flowers” and “Ofelia Concept Store” open a new way towards new generations’ welfare.
