A community for professionals who share the same passion.

At Francisco Segarra, we are building a small community of professionals to share experiences, exchange insights and uncover the challenges and successes behind every business.

The projects featured in FS Stories are restaurants that have successfully carved out their own path in an increasingly demanding and competitive world. Having entrusted us with designing their interiors, they now open their doors to us and speak candidly about the challenges of the hospitality industry and the passion that drives them every day.

In this second instalment, we meet Yago, owner of Cárnicas Racero, a shop located in the coastal town of Benicàssim. A new post that shows that behind every venue there is much more than just a concept: there are people, hard work and enthusiasm.

Behind every business there is a story, and it deserves to be told…

At Francisco Segarra, we know that behind every project there are decisions, challenges and experiences that are worth sharing. And it is precisely stories like that of Cárnicas Racero that give meaning to the FS Stories section.

In a very warm interview, Yago and his team let us get to know them and share their good humour with us. It is with pride and a certain sense of perspective that they look back on their early days and tell us about opening the business, the red tape, the budget and the obstacles they had to overcome to achieve their goal.

During the conversation, they also tell us how they discovered our brand and how the furniture provided the unique touch they were looking for. A ‘good match’ that allowed them to consolidate the entire initial concept.

Cárnicas Racero: tradition and character in every corner.

Specialising in charcuterie and artisan products, respect for the raw ingredients is the guiding principle behind their culinary offering. A philosophy that highlights the quality of local produce and tradition to offer their customers the very best experience.

Down to the smallest detail, Yago guides us through his restaurant, from the bar counter to the kitchen where we meet Roberto, the chef who reveals a few of his culinary secrets.

Entirely designed using elements from our catalogue, the terrace is the heart of the whole project. This space, designed to be enjoyed in complete tranquillity, embodies the very essence of Cárnicas Racero and its vision of the hospitality industry.

And so, sitting at one of the high tables, Yago bids us farewell, making it clear that this is only the beginning. For in this sector, every goal achieved often marks the starting point of a new challenge.
