How spaces can tell a story, interiors revealing themselves.

Interior design and furniture can tell a story and convey or reinforce a message.

In audio-visual productions, such as films, TV series or programmes, all available resources must be used in order to emphasise a message.

Both image and sound go hand by hand in order to create a specific sensation on the viewers and although in most occasions we only pay attention to the action on the foreground, what is happening around it has been thought to the smallest details. Though we think we aren’t paying attention to it, our perception manages it giving a richer and fuller meaning to what we are watching.

Decorations that tell a story.

Maestros de la Costura, a production by Shine Iberia that is broadcasted on Mondays at 10:40pm on RTVE, has counted on the collaboration of Francisco Segarra to furnish and decorate the settings since it came out.

The set decorations created for this talent show make us travel back to a past period that pays tribute to one of the most important industrial sectors in history. Antiques, vintage and recuperated furniture made of materials that show how time has passed by. Furniture that is again used despite ephemeral trends.

That atmosphere created by the artistic direction of Shine Iberia, immerses the audience to a fashion atelier inspired in the first half of the 20th century. A workshop where participants face challenges, stress situations, exciting experiences but also failures like in the real sewing industry. Viewers can feel all these situations as if they were there.

Interior designing for the senses.

As the spaces we see can convey a message, those where we live in always produce feelings and emotions. For this reason, interior design plays a major role in any commercial project, because customers not only look for a certain product or service but also want to enjoy a full experience.

Commercial interior design creates spaces to inspire our senses and awaken feelings in those people who stay there. It brings an added value that makes the difference.
