A beautiful message of love for the sea… MasterChef 8.

The eighth season of the culinary talent produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia returns to La 1, every Monday at 10pm, with a beautiful message of love for the sea. The essence of the incredible seabed and the hidden beauty of the oceans in a scenario that invites us to preserve the biodiversity of our seas.

Collaborations are especially magical projects for Francisco Segarra. Our most authentic illusion is reborn with every new edition of MasterChef.

The wild beauty of the rough waters.

A majestic wave rises offshore, a wave made of light, a wave of hope.

Recycling, art, and awareness. Plastic is a threat to ocean life, art transmits feelings and sensations, engages, encourages, and serves to vindicate the needs of the environment and the sustainability of the planet.

A scenery is a fleeting work of art, a drawing in the sand that fades with those tides coming and going.

This wave is a bridge between the viewer and the message. A work of art to reflect on how our actions affect land, nature, animals.

“Inspired by the recent alert to pollution of our seas with so many plastics that are discarded and that are present in the consumption of every day, especially food, with this proposal I would like to send a message of sustainability from the design of the restaurant for MasterChef 8.

A large wave of recycled plastic bottles framed by a curved wooden slat structure evoke the waves and sea currents flowing under a plant wall that refers to posidonia meadows.

Bottles that appear illuminated floating on the background receive light from the wooden structure that envelops them by accentuating their volume by overlapping transparencies.

The image that saw the walls in turn alludes to the water and the seabed. Furniture and utensils are composed of sustainable, biodegradable or recycled materials and show wear, paint debris, rust… or the hand of the craftsmen present in the irregular crockery enamelled in blues.” ULIA LOUREIRO ISHI-KAWA, artistic director of MasterChef.

There are relationships as strong as the sea itself. Driftwoods and mineral crockery. Francisco Segarra and Ofelia, cessors in MasterChef 8.

Fine cuisine on the shores of the Mediterranean.

A restaurant with sea views inspired by the breeze, the foam of the waves and that blue as the blue sea… With the stoves on, this new edition of MasterChef, immerses us in an authentic restaurant at the foot of the beach to remind us that enjoying gastronomy and touching the sand is a luxury and a pleasure only achievable through the conservation of our seas.
