Maestros de la Costura, an exciting final with talent and creativity.

That emotion of being part of an adventure as special and unique as Maestros de la Costura reached its peak with an exciting final that was a record of share and spectators.

The fourth edition of this Talent Show produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia lived the most magical night for the Valencian Ancor, winner of the Golden Mannequin. An evening where the beauty of our vintage and industrial furniture was felt again in every corner of this already mythical set.

Fashion shines again in an evening full of art.

With a good dose of good humour and talent as a hallmark, the latest edition of Maestros de la Costura has been with us for weeks supporting a sector that has been hard hit by the pandemic. Fashion has once again shone thanks to the dexterity and effort of 12 participants who have shown that design is part of their life.

The outcome of the programme was marked by a special tribute to two great designers of worldwide prestige and recognition. Manuel Pertegaz, fetish designer of great aristocrats and movie stars; and the Italian Valentino, a legend of haute couture and spectacular creations.

His good taste, tireless attitude, and gift for sewing made Ancor, a young man passionate about 1950s fashion, deserved winner in the final duel.

“Having participated is this programme for me has meant doing things I would never have done” sums up the Valencian of his great and unforgettable time in the programme.

Maestros de la Costura and Francisco Segarra, making talent the driver of creativity.

The artistic potential of the furniture ceded by Francisco Segarra in the recreation of the most emblematic workshop of television was present in an evening full of talent and creativity.

Pieces of vintage aesthetics that remind of the good work of those trades of yesteryear, which have revived in the skilful hands of the aspirants and that deserve a masterful scenario.

Scissors, threads, pins, and miles of fabric to make a dream come true that is forged in the love for design. Sewing tools and materials that went out from drawers and lockers to let themselves be governed by creative dexterity.

Week after week we have lived unforgettable moments, dreams that came true and beautiful stories that will remain in the memory of a highly creative set, driven by those who made it come true.
