Sustainable residential interior design: a house at the service of well-being.

The work of an interior designer requires a lot of creativity, a certain virtue to visualize the result before carrying it out, and an extensive knowledge which must be updated as new trends or styles appear.

In Francisco Segarra we are aware of those challenges that can appear throughout the whole process, but also of that magical feeling when achieving what was expected. We love interior design and when it comes to sustainable and healthy housing, our interest intensifies.

Every residential interior design project has something special and a lot of sensitivity. A home is a personal space where creativity is put at the service of well-being and therefore beauty and comfort always go hand in hand.

This house in Palma de Mallorca is presented with a lot of personality, design and its own style. An original and environmentally friendly home. A minimalist but full of charm interior design. We open the doors of this house where the furniture and accessories from Francisco Segarra connect with the essence of the project.

Character and personality in a sustainable house interior design.

Mallorca is known for its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and dreamy coves. To the unforgettable natural beauty of its landscapes is added the picturesque atmosphere of the Mallorca villages.

Génova is a special neighbourhood in Palma. Its beautiful architecture and the views over the sea and mountains make it a privileged place where magnificent residential interior design projects like this are located.

With 190 m2, Falcó 10 is a house for sale in the most bohemian neighbourhood of the Balearic city. A project with an air of Tulum, and a Mexican Chic style, with a lot of character and personality of its own. An original fusion between the Mediterranean and tropical environment, but with the simplicity and purity of wabi-sabi designs.

A residential decoration that claims natural beauty.

In its interiors you feel a pleasant feeling of comfort that allows you to evoke the unmistakable warmth of being at home.

Microcement floors, natural wood carpentry and large windows that allow you to open the whole house to the outside and take advantage of the light and calm of the island.

Clean and sophisticated designs shape this interior design that flees from ostentatiousness.

Elegance already defines the space from the very hall. A mango wooden console table, a wall mirror and some vegetation. Few decorative elements, but intense enough to perfect the place.

In the living room two beautiful and fluffy sofas await our arrival to comfort us in their arms… in the centre the unique and simple character of a coffee table that claims the natural beauty of the raw materials.

The most whimsical textures are accentuated in the dining area. A large natural wood table, a bench that looks with its irregular edges, and some natural fibre chairs.

In the rooms there is no space for superficial elements, but for those decorative accessories that easily become the centre of all eyes with their uniqueness and style.

In each room all the resources are conceived as part of an overall harmony that what causes our admiration.

Designs for dream outdoors.

Like any landscape of this Balearic Island, the living room joins the outdoor area where we can feel the tranquillity of this paradise.

Noble materials continue to star in the outdoor area of this house. We find geometric clay lattices decorating several corners and finishings with a fine and natural stucco that contributes to the thermal comfort and energy efficiency of this sustainable home.

A covered terrace is the most desired after a swim in the pool. A table and a couple of benches relieve us of the sun’s rays but give way to the pleasant sea breeze.

For the most pleasant evenings an outdoor terrace and a good dose of comfort through outstanding designs. Outdoor armchairs that bring exoticism and naturalness in equal parts.

The garden area does not reduce on vegetation, both on the ground and on the vegetation that falls from the first floor giving a touch of extra warmth to this fantastic house.

In residential interior design projects like this we understand the importance of every part in the process and intensifies our passion for sustainable and healthy interior design.
