Café del Art. The true essence of coffee.

With 10 years of experience, Francisco Segarra has earned a high standing in the design and decoration sector. Therefore, it is not surprising to find its furniture in many restaurants and premises all over the world.

Retail interior and contract projects that are easy to recognize, but difficult to describe… Attractive? Original? Maybe a little weird? What is clear is that none of them look like another, but that they all enjoy a unique and very differentiating style.

Unique and distinctive. These the best adjectives to describe Café del Art, the latest 100% FS project in Madrid. In the capital city, there is no other cafeteria like this… A privileged place that will change the way you drink coffee forever.

Café del Art. You’ll never drink coffee in the same way…

Talk about the news with the waiter, tell about the weekend, make a deal go through… Much more than just catering venues, cafeterias are places of social rituals that fits with all kinds of people.

Its walls hold the main element that becomes everyday witness of great moments. A lifelong drink, full of history and culture, which well deserves a small tribute and a great concept within the hospitality sector.

With coffee as the common thread, Café del Art opened its doors in the Spanish Plaza del Cascorro in La Latina neighbourhood. Which was the main idea? Taking care of all the process, from the harvest to the cup itself to offer the best coffee and the best sensations.

They serve from a simple espresso or a delicious cappuccino to the most complex production of syphon coffee… The baristas, true artists of preparing and serving coffee, show all their knowledge at the bar top when serving us the best handmade product.

Designing an exotic and cosmopolitan world.

Café del Art is already seen as the “temple of coffee” in Madrid. An innovative concept that Francisco Segarra and his team managed to make real with a hard work of interior design, pushed to the very limits of creativity.

Entering is like travelling to the distant lands of the origin of this product and enjoy its aromas. Green plants in every corner as if we were in the middle of a crop field. Stone columns as if we were in the old African estates… The design is exotic, the atmosphere becomes cosmopolitan.

In this beautiful setting, the antique furniture preserves the best treasures of coffee culture while, you can taste the house main’s specialty at the table.

Under the dim light, the warm tones of the wood are merged with the exposed brick walls. Stylish velvet armchairs, elegant leather sofas… Café del Art is cozy, like a small exotic shelter in the heart of the capital city.

A large structure full of green plants perfectly dresses a beautiful corner, thus delimiting the cafeteria working area. A wonderful metal enclosure as the final finish of a project that will not leave anyone indifferent.

Illustrator Martina Billi completes the art of the whole project with a simple Bic black pen. Ideal illustrations to the smallest detail that help preserve all the historical essence of coffee.
