Its idyllic location already indicates that we are in a privileged place where each of our senses can be satisfied. Its menu is an explosive cocktail that brings together the best of the Mediterranean diet. And its name conveys warmth and originality.

Welcome to the Mediterranean…

Just twenty minutes from Monaco, we find the Italian city of Ventimiglia. Among some coves, the sea and some flowers, we could say that we are in one of the cradles of the entire Mediterranean.

Palosanto restaurant opens its doors in the recently built port of Cala de Forte. Its intention? Immersing that maritime essence and beautify the landscape more if possible with its pleasant decoration.

With its 270m2, the place stands as one of the best gastronomic points in the whole area. Among the constant swing of the boats, the dishes are slowly savoured, and the atmosphere is fully lived, enjoying the magical views that the place grants us.

In Palosanto, Mediterranean cuisine tastes grilled, with the preparation of its dishes through a Josper oven, but it also merges wonderfully with the most traditional Italian flavours.

A beautiful mixture of tradition and creativity that is not only noticeable in the culinary offer, but also touches every corner of the place to give us the design of an atypical and most attractive restaurant.

“In Palosanto we wanted to modestly reproduce the feeling of being in a little corner of Spain (a country we love) in Italy through the atmosphere and decoration and dishes inspired by a Mediterranean cuisine with strong Spanish and Argentine influence.” Luciana and Elio, owners of Palosanto.

Nature, warmth, harmony… The magic of 100%FS design.

The interior of the premises consists of two main spaces that connect between them through the central bar. Designed ad hoc for the Palosanto restaurant, it becomes a masterpiece and starts with an intense play of types, colours and textures of wood that is repeated throughout the project.

In the front, the large windows reveal a charming outdoor terrace that occupies the entire width of the premises and merges with the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Nature, warmth and harmony were the main pillars of the entire décor process and were achieved through many woods, fibres, ceramic lattices and a lot of vegetation.

Rustic wooden furniture, hanging fibre lamps, aged tiles… Each element joins the main purpose of turning the place into a one that breathes purely and deeply to the Mediterranean.

And to further reinforce that feeling, the play of light bursts with a lot of warmth and accompanies us throughout the tour, as if it wanted to remind us of the most beautiful sunsets of the entire coast.

A new project is a new challenge, but it is also a new illusion that is born from the beautiful relationship between hospitality and interior design. Together with his team, Francisco Segarra can tell the most beautiful stories with a cutting-edge and singular aesthetic.
