CEMENT DESIGN. A successful forum that fosters hospitality and interior design.

Over the years, our website has become a true artistic melting pot for the decor and interior design sector. On the one hand, it contains the largest catalogue of vintage and industrial furniture for professionals in this field and, on the other, it is an excellent window to see outstanding projects and be aware of all the events of the moment.

Talking about interior design is innate in Francisco Segarra. Therefore, he did not hesitate to accept the invitation of Cement Design and ProBusiness Place to participate in the fourth edition of the interior design forum that took place last Thursday, May 20 in Madrid.

Events that foster decor and interior design.

To put together the best ideas about decor and interior design, Cement Design organized in its showroom the forum “Design a la carte” that brought together great personalities of the sector. There was Francisco Segarra, CEO and Founder of Francisco Segarra Furniture and Ofelia Home Decor.

The professionals talked about the most outstanding issues of the moment, emphasizing a sector hard hit by the health crisis. Hotels, restaurants, cafes… Designers, architects and decorators have shared synergies on the essential link between hospitality and interior design.

Hotels and restaurants, the common thread of the presentation.

The forum was presented as the perfect chance to give relevance to the different interior design projects and highlight the elements that make the difference in leisure and hospitality venues.

Gastronomy, decoration, space organization, location of the premises… In an interesting talk, they pointed out the pillars of the good functioning of a business providing accurate observations and ideas.

Regarding to the evolution of the sector, Francisco Segarra himself opted to give special prominence to the open spaces that must also sport a careful and ground-breaking interior design.

“New needs have been generated due to changes in consumption habits. People are now looking for open spaces, no longer just terraces, but also interior patios. Having to adapt to these new needs is an opportunity for our sector.” Francisco Segarra.

A clear reflection of the passion and work of interior design professionals, the presentation has been very fruitful to draw the future of a sector that deserves to continue evolving in accordance with outstanding interior design proposals.

Enjoy once again the best moments of an event that has a lot to enhance hospitality and interior design in general.
