Francisco Segarra furniture in the decoration of the restaurant La Popote d’Ondine, Nice.

Architect Steve Baldini, an expert in the decoration of cosy and very personal interiors, has carried out the comprehensive reform of the restaurant La Popote d’Ondine, in Nice.

The well-known architect has again placed his trust in the contract furniture line Francisco Segarra, for the decoration of the restaurant; as he did previously in the design of the restaurants La Clef d’Or and Emilies’s Cookies & Coffee Shop.

After the comprehensive renovation, the restaurant opened its doors last April; offering, a variety of dishes with fresh products, a homemade elaboration; and a friendly and attentive treatment that makes customers feel at home.

La Popote d’Ondine has a small terrace where you can have some cakes, muffins, or biscuits from their menu, at breakfast time. A large communal table in the centre of the main hall that contributes to the creation of a participatory and pleasant atmosphere. And a more intimate and relaxed area, at the bottom of the premises, located in the previous location of the refrigerated area.

The parquet floor and walls achieve a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. The large windows, let in the sunlight, a natural light, which allows you to enjoy the moment in a relaxed way.

To decorate and furnish the restaurant, Steve Baldini, true to his style, used light tones, leaving nothing to chance; every detail has been thought out and studied. Illustrations of the wall, antique mirrors, Vichy picture paper, incorporation of wicker pieces, high wooden plinths, and mosaics of hydraulic floors. A perfect mix.

The interior design of the restaurant shows a minimalist, sophisticated and modern space, furnished with some pieces from our catalogue of furniture for hospitality. The Meco low stools, the Seldon high stools. Paola school chairs, Dres chairs with rust finish that Francisco Segarra manufactures in limited edition. Gisela cast iron standing tables. And a wide range of retro lamps; April, Altair and Mey.
