A modern interior with surprising artistic details. A house in Moscow.

Today, and increasingly, more attention is paid to the image that emerges from a home. Residential interior design continues to gain strength and at Francisco Segarra, we sympathize with the projects of houses that bet on a decoration with personality.

The design of a space covers many elements, but floor and wall tiles open us to a whole world of possibilities and become the main protagonists of works like the one we are going to present today.

We travel to Russia, specifically to the Ignatova region of Moscow, to visit a family home in which soft and fluid lines are joined with interesting Art Deco touches. In its spaces we find some beautiful compositions in floors and walls made with ceramic tiles from the FS by Peronda collection.

A place with elegance, comfort and a lot of personality.

The main idea of this design project was to create a quiet, bright space with artistic details that make it interesting and meaningful. This country house is in the club Village Fox Hills, with an excellent location surrounded by nature.

It is entirely made of wood and for its interior design the owners trusted in the experience of the Marina Pennie Design and Art studio. The designer projected a distribution of space and a combination of colours and materials that make this house a cozy and familiar place.

Clients wanted the style to be in line with the ideas of the famous architect Alvar Aalto, but they also wanted to find unusual architectural and decorative solutions.

Elegance and comfort are felt from the very entrance of the house. And the tiles by Francisco Segarra are present in different rooms of the house.

Stoneware floor tiles and embossed wall tiles… Surprising visual effects.

The hall of the house welcomes us with a ceramic tapestry that gives it personality and character. FS COMILLAS is a mosaic of colours that enlivens the softness with which this space is decorated.

The fireplace in the living room was a prerequisite for the owners. They opted for a small and elegant wood stove that turns the room into a most welcoming place. Few furniture, neutral tonalities and a focal point that captures all eyes. With wall tiles that imitate the old metal sheets of the Victorian era, the wall is dressed in the shapes and reliefs that the ceramic FS SAJA confers.

The staircase, made of wood and wrought iron, unites both floors through a modern design that creates a surprising visual effect. Under it, a path of stoneware tiles leads us to the kitchen where the identifying aesthetic of the FS CHESTER collection is concentrated.

Modern furniture, designer objects and variety in lighting create a unique space that meets all the requirements a home needs. The art deco details do not distance this interior from the surrounding nature thanks to a very natural colour range.

An outstanding interior design work that was awarded with the first prize in the category “Interior design” of the international open competition “Beautiful wooden houses 2022”.
