Caressing the highest peak in Europe, Chamonix- Mont-Blanc is surely one of the most beautiful natural places in the world. Known as “the roof of the world”, the Alpine city stands out for its characteristic ski resorts, its traditional cableways, and its unbeatable views over the mountain range.

Here, at the foot of Mount Blanc and in the middle of this small winter paradise, the hotel Le Refuge des Aiglons opens its doors for all lovers of mountain tourism. An hotel establishment where you can feel all the spirit of the region.

Completely renovated in 2017, Le Refuge des Aiglons has become the hot spot in the city. Its services and design know how to convey the unique and traditional character. But at the same time their collaborative and current criteria challenge the established codes of mountain accommodation.

Vintage, rustic, modern… A surprisingly different design.

Despite its powerful and robust structure, the space opens in the common areas specially designed for informal moments. Sturdy aged wooden tables, upholstered leather chairs and stools, velvet armchairs… Warmth in its purest state.

As a cocooning, the rooms perfectly represent the constant game between tradition and modernity. Rustic and contemporary touches that coexist with each other and that welcome guests in their rest.

The decorative elements complete this interior design project following the initial common thread. On the ceiling, a beautiful modern fresco painted in eye-catching colours. On the walls, vintage-style aged wallpaper. And in the whole project, furniture, and accessories that bring character…
