Bolton Coach House. The story of a respectful design.

Reinventing the interior architecture of a historic building in which there are only ruins and where nature claims its place, is one of those works that leads to loving interior design and enjoying every day with what we do.

Our home means intimacy, it is the reflection our attitudes and a place of personal freedom to transform the world into our world.

Kingston Lafferty Design was commissioned with one interesting and vibrant work, because creating a feeling of home from an old garage is a unique opportunity to bring out that wonderful creativity that is only born of exploration.

We need to watch, to experiment, to play… to do the usual things differently and design exceptional homes for modern families. And when we question how things are done, we are flattered to see how our ceramic designs are an essential element and influence the whole design project.

Bolton Coach House. The coexistence between past and present times.

A garage and a paper factory of the 18th century in a beautiful story about coexistence and respect.

Bolton Coach House’s new design combines and juxtaposes the old and the new in a unique, interesting, and exciting space that also respects the character, the charm and all the details of the original space.

Atmospheres, corners, and nooks deliberately created with a modern and bright interior design give the user an exciting experience with many routes and ways to use space and enrich the old building with a minimalist and aerodynamic extension design.

Thinking differently is an art that guides us to create in a freer way. In KLD, designs take people on a fun and unexpected journey. Their works have feeling, meaning and character, and in their residential spaces beauty is appreciated, but daily life is also facilated, because people are who give meaning to a space.

Creativity, ethics and artistic sensibility are main concepts to rescue the architectural elements of an abandoned landscape, those that give character, and to merge them with new materials: barrel vaults, mild steel, polished marble, brass and walnut; tolerance and inclusion in a worthy design.

The four-bedroom house features a flowing spatial design that connects the rooms rather than separates them, simplicity triumphs over ostentation to make the bedroom a sanctuary where everyone finds their own peace.

FS Oldker… Beautiful tiles to embellish great dreams.

It is inspiring to see how imaginatively, pragmatically, and elegantly ceramics have a different use. The cobalt blue floral decoration on white of the FS Oldker tiles, is a celebration of the freedom when creating ideas to design a masterful headboard.

When tiles change scenery to be placed in unsuspected places, genius arises.

Bolton Coach House is an ingeniously imagined family residential project where life feels like a wonderful experience.
