The 70’s was a really special period of time to life itself, it a was a period marked by changes that were reflected in fashion, music, decoration and even in gastronomy.

MasterChef Celebrity 4 has been inspired on this period in order to set the expulsion room, a sophisticated area in retro style capable of taking us back in time and reminding us past memories. A glamorous lobby where all pieces have a special touch and can catch your attention.

The ninth program of this talent show became an homage to the 70’s. Sophisticated, complex and totally chic recipes. Gastronomy of that time was full of elaborated and refined dishes and filled food.

Pork galantine, Alaska omelette, Bellavista lobster and poached salmon. Simple cuisine became colourful during the 70’s.

What we know as retro style is a type of decoration where color is one of the main characteristics. Bright colors, textures that awaken our senses, combination of materials… what we find in houses of that time is again outstanding in current restaurant designs.

Its power to evoke a period loved by those who lived then and to awaken curiosity of those who were born after that, may be the secret to be successful.

With no doubts, there are things that are still glamorous despite the passing of time. The use of tassels, wallpaper coverings or eating orange duck are between others the symbol of those who think any point in the past was better.

The aspirants and the jury are arriving at the final program. Anabel Alonso’s farewell was very emotional and they all toasted for the best moments.
