Maestros de la Costura opens a new workshop decorated stylishly.

Maestros de la Costura is back! The program produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia has started with 12% share. Fashion design invades our screens again with a second edition that promises to be more competitive, more fun and more surprising than ever.

The workshop opened its doors and will tuck in the apprentices throughout the season. An authentic sewing workshop that looks again its vintage essence through the collaboration of Francisco Segarra as a furniture cessor.

When interior design joins fashion design…

Francisco Segarra and Maestros de la Costura come together again to give relevance to fashion design. In a most creative space, the program will pay a very personal tribute to the world of sewing and aim to be “a fashion embassy”.

It is with great enthusiasm that the 12 apprentices have discovered their workplace for the coming months. Fabrics, thread coils, needles, sewing machines… A true paradise for all of them who dream of taking the golden mannequin.

The competition has started very strongly under the gaze of Lorenzo Caprile, María Escote and Alejandro G.Palomo. Together, they will evaluate the work of the apprentices, judge their creations, and get to work for the enjoyment of all of us.

The program, presented by Raquel Sánchez Silva every Wednesday at 22h40, will offer us a complete overview of the Spanish textile industry with the presence of great designers and dressmakers.

In the workshop, Francisco Segarra’s furniture will safeguard all the material with great care so that the apprentices can take out all their talent and recreate the best designs.

The decoration of a vintage aesthetic workshop to highlight the beauty of sewing.

To remember a lifelong craft, nothing better than nostalgia and the halo of vintage romanticism. Ulia Loureiro Ishi-Kawa highlights all the beauty of sewing in an illustrious décor that pays tribute to the ancient period workshops.

Sew hems, baste, stick buttons, patch zippers… In the old furniture, everything is in place to start working. The shelves are filled with wool balls, the drawers overflow with thread and the fabrics, well folded on top of the wooden tables.

Next to each workstation, sewing tables show their old character. Pieces of the past with winding lines and natural charm that spinning tradition and nostalgia. Authentic furniture of trade that come to life with the design and decoration of spaces.

When interior design meets fashion design, wonderful television projects emerge. Maestros de la Costura stands out for its original format, for its purpose of rediscovering a lost trade and for showing off a fantastic set.

In the workshop, the essence of Francisco Segarra becomes evident… A surprising and very endearing new collaboration.
