The market stall number 33, an exotic stand at the market. La Pistachería.

All cities have their identity and singularity in their markets. We invite you to feel Madrid through the personality and authenticity of this new stall at the traditional Antón Martín market. La Pistachería, a really exotic setting that treasures millenary legends of a delicacy from the Middle East.

Market tradition, history and culture.

It starts the up-and-down-stairs walks, the blinds are creaking, the first fruit boxes have just arrived as well as the baskets with bread and fish from the market; some peole are talking or having hot coffee at the bar. From the dawn, when the market is still closed, there is a lot of work inside. The market stalls and corridors will soon welcome neighbours who go to the market almost daily. Now with the first purchasings sellers say they have quality products and customers fill in their baskets. There is an air full of life.

The central market is much more than a simple market, the streets are full of joy, it is a supply center and also a place to meet our neighbours, people greet, relate to each other and live together. Antón Martin is seen as way of taking care of our local products, proximity and quality products.

La Pistachería. When the delight comes from far away.

Gourmet dried fruit are a small gastronomic delicacy. Raw, toasted, crushed or growd, with oil or ice cream… Pistachio nuts cooked in a traditional way become a delicatessen.

The design of a traditional market stall showing the value of natural products and reflecting the beauty of croplands has been a new challenge for our interior design team in Madrid.

La Pistachería, a small specialty store, a new concept of venue where tasty and healthy products are sold.

Pistachio’s aesthetic references and the materials of its origin are the inspiration for this project, which enters the usual market bustle and becomes special thanks to its unique style.

Lights that outstand the most interesting details and furniture that offer sweet and declicate flavours. Woods with patina, which have been worked by hand, walls and ceilings imitatingthose adobe houses we can find in the most rural areas. Sophisticated and modern backlighting, lattices and mosaics. This market stall number 33 gives an exotic touch to the market.
