A store interior design full of symbolism and art. FS Experience.

The world of store decoration is influenced to a large extent by the consumers’ behaviour. How they see, feel and experience the world around them has changed and, inevitably the way they buy have also changed.

The search for an emotionally and sensorially perfect shopping experience means a change in store interior design. A new perspective that turns the customers into allies of the business, and not only into the main goal.

Under this premise and trying to draw a new lifestyle where art is appreciated beyond the simple contemplation, FS Experience opens its first store in the heart of the Rastro in Madrid. A store interior design project with an innovative concept, carried out by the team of interior designers from Francisco Segarra.

Location, concept, space… supporting the success of a design.

La Latina, one of the most popular and charismatic neighbourhoods in the Spanish capital, welcomes the first physical store of FS Experience.

The steps to design a successful store are different and deserve all our attention if we want a unique and recognizable place.

Location is a very significative starting point is we have undertaken to start a shop.

The narrow and sinuous streets of this neighbourhood, and that magical atmosphere that has taken hold of them throughout the years, are perfect for this new retail space that fuses artist works, handmade objects and antiques.

The concept is another reason that can support the success of a business. This store design is in line with the old art galleries that preserve the voice of artists. A tribute to the workplaces where they give shape to their own creations.

An inspirational atmosphere wraps the singular store decoration.

This store is made up of a single space of 26m2. Taking advantage of its own structural architecture with high ceilings and two pillars that divide it visually, the space is distributed into three areas: the central one, with a big fireplace that is the basis of all the composition; a second one defined by the shop counter and sales point; and a subspace facing the shop window with a large shelving unit that takes to benefit of the height.

Peeling walls, but full of life make us delve into this inspirational ambiance that every art gallery radiates in a natural way.

Supporting that intimate and personal atmosphere was a key step to achieve this singular store decoration. The dark ceiling produces a sense of personal and exclusive space, and it also serves to frame the walls and give all the prominence of the lighting to the works and antiques.

Store furniture that merges function and aesthetic.

The decoration of small stores makes us look for practical solutions for storage and to display our products.

The furniture in stores plays here an essential role at both levels, functional and decorative.

Display tables, antique pieces of furniture and shelving units in different and modular heights. Works and objects are displayed on the furniture or are placed delicately on the floor or walls, taking advantage of the verticality of the space.

Different ways of displaying sculptures, drawings and all those artistic creations we can find in this small gallery.

The design of a store is much more than showing your products. It is also awakening in our customers a new sensory world where their own creativity has also a place.

In Francisco Segarra we bet on those spaces that encourage curiosity, on those interior designs full of symbolism like this 100%FS store interior design.
