El Garaje. Taking the design of Street Food restaurants to the limit…

In a world determined by uncertainty, it is admirable to see how great natural entrepreneurs create new business models that offer an innovative concept and meet all the new standards of safe leisure.

Admirable, courageous, or even heroic we could say… Newly opened restaurants show their great strength, and all their efforts deserve to be highlighted in a big way.

It is with great admiration that Francisco Segarra brings to light the new project of El Garaje foodtruck restaurant. A ground-breaking gastronomic space that unveils its new image and location.

El Garaje. Fusion of street spirit and Street Food cuisine.

Street Food gastronomy has grown exponentially in recent years. Its street spirit, its sociable and cosmopolitan character, as well as its always fresh and quality culinary offer, make it a safe bet that conquers more and more followers.

Knowing perfectly all the essence of this new gastronomic model, the Valencian entrepreneur Robert Signes opens his new restaurant taking the art of designing restaurant spaces to the limit.

We lack words to define this fantastic restaurant project located at number 10 Doctor Ferrán street in the city of Valencia.

With its outstanding and creative style, El Garaje has already become a real eye-catcher. Unique… for being the first gastronomic garage in Spain. Authentic… for setting us up in a real ’60s workshop.

And simply excellent for its healthy and varied menu that fuses Spanish specialities with Street Food cuisine, whose burgers have already been awarded with the third place in the last Spanish championship of burgers.

Designing an authentic time capsule…

The best place to develop the concept of this restaurant is an old truck repair workshop… From this idea and with a sophisticated design down to the smallest detail, El Garaje manages to create an authentic time capsule.

Three Citroen HY, one Saba, two Avia and one Vespacar… Historical collector’s vehicles from the 50s, 60s and 70s and today turned into food trucks to offer the best gastronomy on wheels.

Old motorcycles, mechanic uniformed waiters, vintage furniture, and even wrench-shaped cutlery… All the elements come together to make us travel to a genuine 60s workshop.

A genuine workshop… An explosion of vintage and industrial style.

Long hours working in the workshop are evident in all corners of the restaurant. Wear and rust are the big stars of the design project, which produces an explosion of vintage and industrial styles.

Tile walls show the passing of years and the varnished floor simulates grease and oil stains. Rough materials are present in the furniture, which has a very aged finish.

Ceiling grille lamps, metal chairs, solid wooden tables, tiles with imperfect finishes… The unique and special aesthetic seen in Francisco Segarra’s furniture and tiles unfolds all its personality, reinforcing the desired aesthetics.

Entering El Garaje restaurant means knowing a new way to enjoy gastronomy. It is an exceptional and innovative experience where Street Food restaurant design breaks down all schemes.
