Design is essentially an important part of the exciting idea that arises when undertaking a restaurant project. To create an atmosphere full of meaning, interior design must be part of the environment and its history, and sometimes a certain boldness is also part of success…

Perhaps its views, extremely beautiful, are the finishing touch of this restaurant that stands on beside the sea. That feeling of contemplating the immensity of the ocean, of savouring the best gastronomic offer and of being able to do it in a privileged place adorned with stars … it can only be felt in A Frouxeira.

A restaurant at the foot of the beach where the studio Yáñez Diseño y Construcción once again relied on the FS by Peronda collection by Francisco Segarra to design this restaurant and bring its stellar light beyond its borders.

A treasure among waves, sunsets, and stars…

The Costa Ártabra is a place of cliffs, lighthouses, and wild beaches, and it has become one of the most surprising areas of Galicia. Its coastline twists into nooks and crannies to adapt to the scourges of the Atlantic.

Among the vehement waves of the waters and a beautiful landscape of natural dunes we can admire the immensity of the beach of A Frouxeira, a treasure in the village of Valdoviño, where this restaurant of Mediterranean cuisine is located.

There are sensations hard to define, and that was the goal of this project, which manages to dominate the entire sandbank from its glazed façade. An establishment located in a place known as Playa Pequeña, a refuge where you can feel protected from the brave waves of the sea, where you can witness the best sunsets and where you can be touched by the stellar light that this place gives off.

Respecting the essence of the environment where it is located, A Frouxeira is a restaurant that is full of style and colour without losing the typical naturalness and freshness of coastal hotel establishments.

To the pastel and neutral tones predominating in the space, a touch of colour and personality is imposed through red and black metal chairs and stools in industrial style.

In the cafeteria area, and surrounded by beautiful and intense stars, the bar takes centre stage to serve a clientele that is not afraid to face such a beautiful landscape…

The dining area welcomes us again with a star-sprinkled tapestry, a magnificent design to enjoy the best gastronomic experiences. FS STAR is a hydraulic design ceramic that is inspired by the old pavements, an element that adds warmth and sense of familiarity.

An atmosphere that boasts of its environment and its history, a place to connect with the immensity of nature, a space where our ceramic displays all its charms and makes its light reach beyond the horizon.
