Discovering the interior design of a great restaurant… Méli Mélo.

There are emblematic places that, thanks to their past and popularity, have become part of the social life of a city. They are traditional spaces that shine for their gastronomic offer and set the rhythm of the leisure and restaurant sectors easily.

We love discovering their history, meeting their people and enjoying with all the stories they have to tell. Lifelong places that preserve their first concept but also know how to update thanks to the strength of interior design.

Today, we travel to Aragon capital city in order to visit Méli Mélo, a reference restaurant that shows its new interior design without compromising its essence. A fresh and colourful stop where Francisco Segarra’s furniture find its place in style.

Méli Mélo. The interior design of a small sensory paradise.

Great, imposing and shining. Located in the Ebro Valley, the fifth national city is full of life. Saragossa, a dynamic and cheerful city, is a beautiful window to discover Spanish traditions and it is particularly known for its representative cuisine.

It is just here, in the heart of the historical town and in the centre of the gastronomic, that we find the popular restaurant Méli Mélo. During its 17 years of history, the place has acquired fame and has become one of the most visited places by the locals.

Traditional tapas have a new way of plating in hands of chef Raquel Marcén. More fresh, funnier, with unique textures and flavours that do not compromise the presence of raw material feedstock and cared in detail.

A traditional Mediterranean cuisine with author touches that originates a revolutionary concept, in such a way that it has been rewarded by the most exquisite gastronomic contests.

Méli Mélo is a small sensory paradise for a bold diner who wants to go beyond the usual and who enjoys a good meal in an idyllic restaurant design, in an exotic, deep and a bit mystical ambiance.

A new restaurant and the same essence.

Méli Mélo reopened its doors with a new and unique image, an important professional interior design work by designer Jesús Aznar Salvador.

The main purpose? Lend continuity to this reference place through a fresh and modern decoration preserving the origins, the soul and the unconditional character of this restaurant.

Méli Mélo premieres a new look, and it does with all its splendour. Materials, colours and textures merge and arise from every corner to delight with a new visual experience. Every detail, every element and every glance become special and amazing.

Colour, sophistication and elegance… Méli Mélo and its particular decorative charm.

As we cross the threshold, the sensation of being in a colourful and happy world overcomes us. The wallpaper, protagonist in the whole place, makes us delve into an unusual, exotic and contemplative universe.

Distributed in two zones, the place opens its doors with high tables in order to start this new experience with the best tapas in the city. Then, it also offers à la carte service in a new area furnished with more subtle and Provençal furniture.

Light arrives to any corner and evidences the beautiful constant play between the main elements. Wood, rattan, rope, oak… Nature is imposed and lets itself be accompanied by the elegance of bronze tones and by the classic hydraulic tiles.

A restaurant décor out of common, with a unique power of attraction, where Francisco Segarra’s most sophisticated furniture brings its singular and recognizable charm.

Méli Mélo restaurant interior design floods our senses. An examplary décor project that shows traditional cuisine and modern decoration can go hand in hand perfectly and make us dream in a big way.
