The authentic Italian trattoria experience in Madrid.

Italian cuisine is one of the most internationalized in the world; its ingredients, flavours and tastes never disappoint us. Nevertheless, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find an Italian restaurant that holds the essence of the most traditional cuisine.

L’Angoletto promises to bring us those original recipes made with Italian native ingredients. Ligurian pasta, Lombardy rice, delicatessen by Emilia Romaña, olive oil from Abruzos or buffalo mozzarella from Lazio. The menu itself is like travelling around Italy while tasting the dishes.

Love for authentic cuisine.

Italian trattorias offer meals in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, where homemade traditional food is served through recipes that have gone from generation to generation. This is the basic premise of L’Angoletto and the one that Dorotea Estudio (with Gloria and Alba at the head) made real with distinction.

A wide space with terrazzo style stoneware flooring (FS Ofelia) and wooden floors, high ceilings and a combination of wall coverings with white paint, ceramic and wood. The kitchen is wide and seems to belong to an antique house from an Italian village. Join us!

A space to enjoy the traditional Italian cuisine.

A continuous leather bench running along the dining room wall, different tables and chairs, but all the restaurant furniture has the same rustic essence that conveys the warmth we find in a homely environment. Francisco Segarra’s furniture chosen by Dorotea Estudio brings out perfectly its Provencal character.

Several industrial metal shelving units display and storage local products, tableware and firewood that is used as fuel for the MAM oven, which was brought specifically from the Toscana.

On the other side of the dining room, there is a large kitchen island made of work with a wooden top, which is suitable for 14 diners. There is an area furnished with Nopi tables, stools with backrest and Olden hanging lamps. Wood, iron, natural fibres and leather, traditional materials in a space where time seems to have stopped.

Plants give colour to any corner, saucepans, storage jars or fresh ingredients in baskets here and there… this is a space to be experienced and enjoyed.

L’Angoletto, a corner where you can enjoy the original flavour and the atmosphere of an Italian trattoria.
