Land of crops and tourist landmarks, Navarre is known for its charming villages where life runs peacefully. Among emblazoned stately homes and farmhouses from centuries past, the architectural landscape could not be more traditional.

Here we meet Ángela Guillén, who invites us to enter a typical single-family house in the region. An interior designer and decorator, she tells us the guidelines of the work she has carried out, specifically in the kitchen that has been spectacularly renovated.

Throughout the project, they wanted to preserve the essence and the concept “village house”. And the truth is that, in an environment of rural and naturalistic character, everything here manages to acquire a degree of sophistication and elegance.

Under a spectacular wood-beamed ceiling, the living room and kitchen remain connected; separated by an arch that exposes the old stone walls in contrast to the lime mortar that covers the rest of the walls.

The materials and warm tones constantly dialogue with each other and take all the prominence in the space. Cozy and so homey, the décor embraces the same spirit and makes this kitchen the core of family gatherings throughout the house.
