When the decoration takes us on a journey… La Campechana.

The search for the best restaurant designs leads us to travel and discover new cultures. And every time we go to an international specialty establishment, we can feel an immediate sensation of wellbeing. Decoration and gastronomy, perfectly matched, make us explore the most distant and deep-rooted traditions.

This time, we get delighted by a Mexican restaurant. And the best way to discover is following the steps of the most daring and fun furniture in our catalogue. Today, we enter the heart of Mexico in a canteen that gives off flavour and style.

La Campechana. A restaurant with a lot of freshness and joy…

In Barcelona, and more specifically in the district of Poblenou, we find a small catering establishment that differs from all the others. With its olive-green façade and wooden shutters, La Campechana is a change of scenery from the first moment.

Heading to Mexico! In the heart of Barcelona, this restaurant does not hesitate to bring us the most traditional atmosphere of the Central American country. It does so in an intimate and cozy space; the best place to know the richness of Mexican cuisine.

Through its menu, it takes us directly to the most popular streets, where nachos are eaten in portions and micheladas are enjoyed at every corner. From enchiladas to special tacos, the culinary offer cannot be more varied and, above all, knows how to take care of tradition and respect the most authentic flavours.

Authenticity in the dishes, and also in all its decoration that strives to maintain a traditional connection at all times. The colours, the materials, the furniture, the lights… all the elements are quickly wrapped by the exoticism and freshness that reign here.

Designing a hundred per cent Mexican experience…

The Escobedo studio, specialists in project management, was responsible for carrying out the entire design of La Campechana. With an exemplary interior design work, the goal of decorating a Mexican restaurant with its own personality was achieved.

Everything has been thoroughly studied to ensure the best possible immersion. The earthy and brown shine throughout the space remembering the special light of Mexico. Worn tiles, stone walls and details in wood and wrought iron evoke the country’s diverse and typical culture.

The furniture and lighting were key to creating an extremely welcoming atmosphere. In wood and metal, the tables, chairs and stools integrate the space with an undisputable warmth. And the hanging lamps, in a subtle golden tone, reinforce the feeling of intimacy providing the greatest possible visual comfort.

Finally, the vegetation present inside the premises immerses us in nature and accentuates the impression of living an outdoor experience in the most emblematic Mexican streets.

An interior design project is an authentic journey. And this offers us the most attractive vision of Mexican culture. La Campechana is a place that is lived from the inside where furniture and decoration create an immediate and unforgettable connection.
