Sakro. A pizzeria with a unique decoration and a well-kept secret.

Nowadays, going to a restaurant has become a constant search for novelties. The diner, eager for experiences, wants new sensations both gastronomic and emotional.

In line with this trend, hoteliers need a good initial concept to offer something different, to get away from the competition and to become an eye-catcher. And, at Francisco Segarra, we are experts in making such unique and extremely attractive projects possible.

Our latest find is in the heart of Madrid and is ready to completely revolutionize the common decoration of pizzerias. Designed with furniture of our catalogue, Sakro is presented with a unique personality and a mystery that explores the limits of creativity.

Eating and enjoying are sacred in life…

The name of the restaurant itself is the common thread of the whole concept. Sakro is a derivative of Latin meaning “sacred”. A somewhat enigmatic inspiration that seeks to connect with our spirituality through a totally different experience.

Eating right is sacred; living unique moments with others too… In a warm atmosphere, Sakro opens its doors to culinary pleasure with a menu that highlights the most traditional character of Italian cuisine.

Roman ovens, 100% Italian ingredients, artisanal techniques… A pizzeria that makes us rediscover the most authentic flavours thanks to the elaboration of rectangular pizzas cooked in pure Roman style.

Located in the heart of the Malasaña neighbourhood, the restaurant flees from the conventional pizzeria decor. Its menu is a bit like a trip to Rome, but its interior design is a true invitation to personal well-being and exclusive moments of connection.

Intimate and balanced… This is the Sakro experience.

The interior design seeks to always represent the name and essence of the project. From the very threshold of the door, the japandi style monopolizes every corner of a place where nothing is put to chance, and everything has its reason for being.

The walls are the first to highlight the atmosphere. Chipped and purely imperfect, they play with grey and beige tones contrasting perfectly with the smoothed cement floor.

The circular bar counter, also made of cement, imposes its presence in a natural way. Humble and generous at the same time, it lets itself be subtly accompanied by furniture and lighting that, together, manage to bring that coveted spiritual balance.

High stools, natural wood tables and chairs, elegant lamps… The wabi-sabi furniture by Francisco Segarra highlights the humility of nature and the dim and indirect lighting immerses the place in a homely, very intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

A special and wonderfully mysterious place…

At nightfall, the pizzeria explores its limits even more and reveals its most enigmatic face. In a hidden basement that is accessed with password or reservation, a new universe is drawn, more sober and manly, but just as creative.

In pure “speakeasy” style and in a very rock atmosphere, La Analógica becomes the largest meeting point to taste cocktails and listen to the vinyls that are playing on the record player.

A dark and elegant space that claims its clandestinity through aged woods, leather armchairs and dark light. Here all is very analogous, very unusual… but extremely suggestive and captivating.

Sakro is proof that all idealized concepts for the creation of a restaurant can become reality. With Francisco Segarra’s furniture, this pizzeria decor only accentuates our desire to try a totally innovative experience.
