ARRE, when a restaurant designer reaches to the very heart.

A restaurant is a place to enjoy with all our senses. A meal, new savours, traditional flavours… but a restaurant is also a space where you can feed your senses with the decoration and the interior design.

When we enter a restaurant and feel its essence and that special mark that turns it into a unique space, it is a good moment to know that the invisible fingertips of those who made it real are also there… restaurant designers.

Behind a great interior design project there is always a great interior design team. And this is how we define ours.

At Francisco Segarra every work is thought, projected and designed with the perfect amalgam of experience, knowledge and passion. A combination of characteristics that define us and which we unfurl in every 100%FS project, in order to achieve a so admirable result such as the restaurant Arre.

Its concept rescues the singularity of this emblematic venue, and the rehabilitation has been as friendly as it could with the original architecture of the building.

Located in the historical city centre of Castellón, the restaurant Arre opens its doors preserving its link with the origins of the city, making us as participants of the Levantine culture and gastronomy and showing its new interior design designed by Francisco Segarra’s team.

Restaurant design and decoration with an innovative concept.

It is probably the oldest building in the city and its arches and wood fired oven from the 14th century live together with fully modern elements. An outstanding interior design work that only could become real at the hand of restaurant designers who bet on the most innovative ideas.

Pedro Salas and Bea Villalba are the couple at the head of Arre. An intimate and personal project that has inside the essence of Castellón.

The restaurant concept is based on the Valencian word “torrà”, which refers to moments when we share a meal and some laughs with ours around the embers in the fireplace. The restaurant design and decoration get involved.

Bringing back its essence, renewing its presence…

The original ceilings and wood beams were reserved as possible as it could be. In order to match elements from different eras in the same space, they opted for a warm colour palette, evoking the embers and the soil.

The arches form a porch in the opening of the wood fired oven, which has been illuminated both inside and outside so that we can contemplate the dimensions of the dome.

The restaurant has two dining rooms, one on each floor, and an outdoor terrace on the top floor.

The kitchen is open, what let diners see the cooking process of every dish.

A hallmark project, a design that meets its expectations…

The restaurant is wonderful and all in it is in line with its hallmark.

Every table has its own barbecue, placed in the middle of it. Around them stone benches and wooden chairs loin the warmth of this space and radiate familiarity and comfort.

The extraction hoods and ducts are in sight, bringing a dose of modernity that does not stop the right development of the restaurant concept.

Auxiliary furniture, display cabinets and vintage cupboards… In this space we can feel the essence of this village, which was what the owners were looking for.

The interior design was completed with a good lighting in toasted tones that embellish the uneven walls, reminding us of the charm in the imperfect.

Décor accessories that bring back and preserve the essence.

It was necessary the introduction of details closely linked to the symbolic venue in order to bring back its essence and after fifteen years since its last service.

The old sign “Panadería Miralles” from the former bakery, which was the last commercial activity in this place was rescued and has been placed on the wall.

The papers with which the bread was wrapped have been framed and show off on the walls of this restaurant. Antique objects from the old bakery keep the love for this traditional job.

Wood, clay, linen, rattan, preserved plants… décor accessories help to dust off the essence of this place and keep it present in all the restaurant interior design.

A restaurant designer knows that every detail must take us to the heart of the project.

Arre found its story in this building, and the way to tell it through Francisco Segarra’s interior design team.
