In a very rustic setting, this small restaurant immerses us in an atmosphere of the 50s to rediscover the traditional flavours. This small wine bar has been designed with furniture from Francisco Segarra and has its own style.

Enjoy the typical sausages and taste the local cheeses while having a good glass of wine. Gabin Marcel and Ferdinand stay with us on this culinary adventure that promises to be the most sensational for our taste buds.

Véronique de Praingy, decorator of this small place in the city centre of Chartres in France, has created a restaurant concept based on the sale of traditional products in a retro atmosphere that makes us travel to the past.

“Gabin, Marcel and Ferdinand is first and foremost an atmosphere, a state of mind… an era. A period when people did not run after time, where hard work compelled respect, as was the case of Creuse or Corroze.

The days began at dawn preparing the goods and the market stalls in order to find the coexistence between these life companions, such as Gabin Marcel and Ferdinand.

Inside our establishment, this velvet energy emanates from the smell of old barrels, aged cheeses and deli… an energy cuddled in a whisper made of wrapping paper and glass, a whisper that tinkles and fills.

With our smiles, we offer a drink as a little rest out of time. A bubble of wine essence around a meeting place to take us back to the mid-1950s.” Gabin, Marcel and Ferdinand.

A story, a decoration, an authentic wine bar.

Through decoration and interior design, this space conveys a story that evokes the memories of yesteryear and the nostalgia of the past and turns into a true French wine bar.

The completion in bar interior design comes with the selection of furniture and equipment. To achieve this rustic bar décor, they selected some pieces from Francisco Segarra’s furniture catalogue. As a result, they achieved a place with an industrial vintage style that perfectly adapts and enhances it.

From the outside, we can already see bottles of red wines and deli boards. When pushing the door, a counter full of local produce catches our attention.

The knives are carefully hung, ready to cut and offer the best pieces. As a butcher shop, the white tile walls highlight the effects of a past time. FS Manises B wall tiles add the first vintage touch to the space.

Romina leather stools and Aruca and Nopi mango wooden tables invite us to take a seat. We sit at the counter bar or on the bench… we toast, enjoy and leave time!

A traditional wine bar under the beams and decorated with rustic elements. The old wooden boxes, the worn jute sacks and the pita rope join this bucolic atmosphere.
