Yoshi Hokkaido. A restaurant with a serene and natural design.

When interior design is applied to restaurants, we are facing a challenge that encompasses a wide variety of factors, but we are also facing the opportunity to make a new experience a reality.

Through interior design and decoration, you can convey sensations, and they will be the ones that will last in our diners and those that will encourage them to repeat the experience.

In the Yoshi Hokkaido restaurant, the design focused mainly on that, on showing only some of the characteristics of the Japanese style, in an interior that moves away from the typical oriental restaurants.

A Japanese restaurant with a totally different approach, where Francisco Segarra’s Eyra chairs complete the interior design with their delicate, serene and natural design.

Eastern harmony in tune with today’s trends.

Japan is a fascinating destination where centuries-old traditions merge with modernity. A place that inspired the concept of the Yoshi restaurant when it opened a decade ago in Madrid, and that now continues to captivate us in the same city, with a design that opts for absolute comfort with some touches of Japanese style.

For this new opening, the name “Yoshi”, which means “Good Luck”, was added “Hokkaido”, a beautiful island of wild nature in Northern Japan. With this they tried to preserve the essence of this country and evoke it in the interior design through some small brushstrokes.

In this space we find the perfect fusion of traditional food and a more modern environment that prioritizes comfort. The TROPART Interiorismo studio managed to achieve that aesthetic harmony that is felt when entering this place.

The large windows make natural light flood this charming restaurant overlooking the Retiro Park. Neutral colours are the basis of this interior design where order and simplicity reign.

One of the elements that is always present in Eastern culture is nature. Here it is the hanging plants and the green colour of the benches that bring us closer to it in a subtle way.

Wallpaper, a large decorative fan on the wall and an even light distribution. The style is outlined with small touches that help get that sense of balance.

The wood, in soft tones, comes through furniture such as our Eyra chairs to provide warmth and naturalness. A chair of immaculate beauty that makes room in this space with its clean and minimalist aesthetic.

The restaurant design has pure and elegant lines, in tune with current trends, but with those small features that keep it linked to its roots.

The evidence that every design project is a boost to create what we propose. With professional interior designers and furniture collections like those you can find at Francisco Segarra it is possible to make it real.
