In the heart of the Costa del Azahar, in Benicassim, the summer lasts all year round… Next to the beach, we find a place conceived by Francisco Segarra as the reformulation of the traditional beach bar, with a gastronomic offer worthy of the best restaurant.

La Guindilla Group and Francisco Segarra or the illusion of making real their third project.

A gastro-bar, a gin&bar, a tapas bar, a tavern, a wine shop, a wine cellar, several restaurants… La Guindilla Group, with José Romero leading the way, has become a benchmark of hospitality in the province of Castellón. This summer, it surprised everyone with a new concept next to the Terrers beach in Benicassim.

A major gastronomic project, Francisco Segarra’s third for La Guindilla group, which relies on Pedro Salas, executive chef of the Aqua restaurant in Luz Hotel and the Miss Sushi chain; together with Iñaki Tobar, Juan Pau and sommelier Manolo Lliberós.

The restaurant interior design, the furniture, the lighting, the decoration… We can feel the vintage style and aesthetics of an outstanding brand all over the place.

 

 

A colossal seahorse lends its image to the restaurant’s logo. Just in front of a pebble beach, a large wooden walkway offers wonderful sea views. A must stop to have a relaxing break.

As we enter, we find the cocktail bar. Inspired in a beach hut with a bold air, it is a place where we can taste lots of cocktails, rest on the comfortable wicker or rattan armchairs, or have some snacks while we enjoy the gentle lapping of waves.

The vegetation immerses us in an environment with tropical touches and provides freshness and intimacy. Among the plants, some ancient furniture shows its most endearing features.

Designing a fine cuisine restaurant in an irresistible environment.

Through vertical gardens, concrete blocks and colonial air fans, this same vegetation leads us to the main dining room. On the sides, the brewery, the market and the fishmonger open their bars to offer their select products.

In the background, the kitchen becomes the nerve centre of the place and let us imagine the excellent dining experience that is to come. Rice dishes, grilled dishes, sushi… A varied menu for the most demanding palates.

Around the tables, a range of chairs invites us to take a seat. Rattan, wicker, wood, metal… because with one style is not enough! And because combining shapes and colours, the dining room becomes unique and authentic.

Warm and cozy light for magical and wonderful nights.

The atmosphere changes when the sun goes down and night falls. Neon lights illuminate outside, inviting to enter. The blue of its wall tiling takes on a special hue.

A warm, welcoming and familiar atmosphere where we can meet friends and enjoy the sea breeze. It is at this moment that the cane roofs and lighting take on all their prominence. Laughter and enjoyment in good company until late at night.

The most exquisite design, a stone’s throw from the sea. This is how the traditional beach bar has turned into a new concept design. A restaurant that merges with sand and sun, and where summer is endless.
