Successful concepts in restaurant interior design.

Are you opening a restaurant? If your answer is yes, then you should take some notes, before the design and decoration of the space, you must find your starting point: the concept.

There is no doubt that a restaurant is a combination of elements that must share values and favour each other.

Location, service, product, design, decoration… Creating a business is like a journey full of challenges, but highly exciting. A way that starts with the drawing of our concept and develops in each selection we take.

At Francisco Segarra we are specialists in restaurant interior design, and we love being part of great interior design projects that highlight the importance of that first idea, as well as the transcendence of those ideas with original and innovative proposals.

Through our firm we help interior design studios that trust in our experience, but we have also a wonderful team of interior designers who have developed successful restaurant concepts to be proud of.

It is one of the first steps to open a restaurant and it is the thread that leads us during all the process.

The concept can come from different causes. A place, a word, sensations, traditions… It is the starting point, but blurred limits increase the possibilities of interior designers to lead it to success.

Discover through some of our 100% FS projects how their different concepts were approached to create unique experiences.

An amazing place, a design that tells stories…

A great restaurant concept developed by professionals of design and decoration can be powerful enough to make this path easier.

Antique stores are amazing places, where it is almost impossible to not go back… That whirlwind of sensations their curiosities and stories produce in us is what we feel as we enter ASOKO. A Japanese restaurant located in Valencia.

Because designing a restaurant is thinking carefully in every corner and in every detail.

An antique store is a place full of singular objects where we can feel the essence of what they were in the past and that sensibility is what the owners were looking for.

In ASOKO we discovered an exciting journey through the Japanese culture with a restaurant concept where decoration tells a story.

A word full of symbolism, a space that breaths of the world…

Nómada, as the word means, was born from the expression meaning movement and change, from the personality full of different influences and cultures.

This restaurant located in Zaragoza represents a stop on the journey for those travellers who look for a refuge in plurality.

Through different objects, memories and signatures this place keeps their travel diaries.

Lived woods, structural bricks, bare walls, reused doors, textiles full of personality… This place takes us to different parts of the world, a space for everybody.

Restaurant interior design is defined by furniture, décor accessories and lighting, but its concept must be felt in every detail in order to highlight its coherence.

Colours, savours, aromas… There are worthwhile sensations.

With coffee as the thread, Café del Art is much more than a coffee shop, it is the “temple of coffee” in Madrid.

This innovative concept was carried out thanks to the creativity and the great interior design work done by Francisco Segarra’s team.

The main idea was to represent in this space all the process from the harvesting of grain to the cup of coffee.

Green plants as crop fields; large columns as in old African estates… Wood in pale tones, sumptuous textiles and a wealth of details that contributes to preserve all the essence of the coffee’s history.

Restaurant decoration is a wonderful opportunity to discover new worlds and to know new stories.

Renewed traditions. A space that tasted of Spanish customs.

Inspired in the industrial style of the old breweries, this small bar Gran Sol pays tribute to the best Madrid “tapeo”.

Without losing its traditional character, this place shows a renewed image.

Aesthetic details play constantly between vintage and industrial styles to find that perfect balance between lifelong bars and the contemporary look the owners wanted.

An imposing bar counter, high stools and wall wooden shelves. The character and the history are present in the warm and cosy ambiance we find here.

The constant play between marble and wood preserves the traditional essence of the place.
