Gran Sol beer bar opened its doors in the centre of Madrid more than 20 years ago. Without missing its traditional character, this small long-life bar presents its new image, which is fresh and innovating.

Francisco Segarra, leading our interior designer team in Madrid, has overseen the complete bar design, getting inspired in the industrial style of the old breweries.

Located in the heart of Chamberí quarter, Gran Sol brewery pays homage to the best Madrid “tapeo”. In this popular place you can taste Typical Spanish dishes and good beer. Plentiful servings and snacks known as “soletes”.

Beer taps and a ham holder on the bar top. With the family or with some friends, we can stand while having some drinks and snacks. A warm and cheerful atmosphere arises in this small venue, which has become the ideal meeting point.

Through this design, the space achieves the balance between the traditional Madrid taverns and a more contemporary look. Aesthetical details combine these two styles to achieve a fresh and new place, but full of character and history.

Vintage and industrial aesthetics as the red thread of the design.

Our interior design team in Madrid has achieved this bar design evokes the traditional 20^th century breweries. To make it real, our own vintage and industrial style is noticed in all details of this decoration.

Getting the most out of the space, there isn’t much furniture because in Madrid traditions people usually stand while having some “tapas” and beer. Some iron high stools are at the bar top, and some wooden wall shelves are used to place glasses.

A soft light and the combination between marble and wood make us feel as if we were in an old tavern. Brick walls and concrete floor, the place has a warm atmosphere that invites to stay.

Industrial style FS Rialto Decor porcelain floor tiles perfectly combine with the rustic and vintage look of the FS Melvin Color wall tiles. Authentic ceramic tiles that belong to FS by Peronda collection. They have a great decorative power.

Madrid enjoys a great hospitality offer and the city’s roots are reflected in its bars. Gran Sol has become a popular place in the Chamberí quarter and a must stop for all those who are visiting the city. The new opening of our showroom at 19 Larra Street, which has its own interior design department, provides our closeness to the Horeca sector.
