Rosario Varela is the meeting point for both Granada people and tourists of the city. The name finds its inspiration in the streets where it is, at number 10 Varela Street, next to the corner of Rosario Street.
Mrs. Rosario and Mr. Varela are the result of Cristina Bautista’s imagination, the designer imagination of the venue. One day, they decided to leave their home in inheritance to their son. He did not take care of it which implied that space progressively went into decline.
Today, the place is still alive thanks to continuous comings and goings. Here, everything is shared, and everyone feels at home. A home and family space that lacks pretensions and enjoys a great home atmosphere. Music, drinks, friends and enjoyment…
How vintage style is incorporated into this fantastic concept of eclectic interior design.
To develop her concept, Cristina Bautista chose to design a space with little bold eclectic combinations, and with vintage and industrial aesthetics as the main styles.
Rosario Varela reflects the image of a place full of stories, open for years. Its walls are dressed in unique wallpaper with a pure and aged effect and some Victorian-style metal panels. An exclusive vintage coating, ideal for recreating the desired environment.
Antiques coexist with each other, all of them hiding a beautiful past. Mirrors that simulate natural wear, printed cushions of aged fabric, decorative metal plates, clocks, dishes…
And it is in this retro atmosphere, under the dim light of the industrial lamps and accompanied by music, that we share a table to have some drinks and enjoy the delicious specialties of the house.

Decoration concept is completed with the ideal gastronomic offer, a menu fully aligned with the restaurant. Tapas and portions that promote healthy food.
