Alameda Barbershop, a place with its own style.

Creativity, innovation, and aesthetic sense are essential qualities for the business in the world of styling. But these values are not only skills that are part of professionals engaged in this sector, but they can also be transmitted through interior design.

In the case of the Alameda barbershop, in Granada, these main qualities are added a differentiating and exclusive point that marks its own seal of quality. It is a business with more than half a century of experience; four generations of barbers offering their expertise since 1941.

“We are one of the oldest Barbershops in Granada, we wanted to renew our image without losing the essence, it is an investment for our children, the next generation”

Jesús Torres Chicote, was the interior designer in charge of facing this challenge of renewing the space of this renowned place in the city, maintaining its original essence, which is already part of the local imaginary. To do so, he relied on Francisco Segarra’s decorative accessories and furniture as in other of his projects.

Imperfect and genuine.

The main purpose was undoubtedly to preserve the brand’s own identity and history and to renovate the space. The use of different wall coverings gives a greater dynamism to the room, combining different ceramic materials, exposed face brick, antique mosaic, and white bevelled tile.

The floor plays a major role in this barbershop, visually dividing the areas of the place. Jesús Torres Chicote has used the FS Star by Peronda ceramic in this project to highlight and give greater prominence to the star area of the barbershop. One of our most iconic ceramics.

The electrical installation has been kept exposed, as well as the ventilation ducts, achieving an industrial and masculine touch. The vanities and furniture have wood as the main material, balancing the interior design with a cosy and warm touch.

Lifelong business.

The classic barbershop comes back into fashion among the male population that increasingly takes care of the beard and hairstyle and demands more this type of business. Business premises that promote beauty and style in an outstanding atmosphere.

The authentic temple of facial and hair care for man.
